Cyberbot II has detected that page contains external links that have either been globally or locally blacklisted. Links tend to be blacklisted because they have a history of being spammed, or are highly innappropriate for Wikipedia. This, however, doesn't necessarily mean it's spam, or not a good link. If the link is a good link, you may wish to request whitelisting by going to the request page for whitelisting. If you feel the link being caught by the blacklist is a false positive, or no longer needed on the blacklist, you may request the regex be removed or altered at the blacklist request page. If the link is blacklisted globally and you feel the above applies you may request to whitelist it using the before mentioned request page, or request its removal, or alteration, at the request page on meta. When requesting whitelisting, be sure to supply the link to be whitelisted and wrap the link in nowiki tags. The whitelisting process can take its time so once a request has been filled out, you may set the invisible parameter on the tag to true. Please be aware that the bot will replace removed tags, and will remove misplaced tags regularly.

Below is a list of links that were found on the main page:

I think that the W87, the W-87, and the Type 87 Mortar are all the same exact weapon.

[edit]

I noticed that on the page of the Type 87 Mortar it was mentioned that there was a W87 model for export that has an 81mm calibre, and in this page there's also a list entry that is defined as W-87 - 81mm in the mortar section of infantry equipment. I think that considering the only real change between these two is punctuation, the W87 and the W-87 are referring to the same model of firearm, and personally (I wasn't editing stuff on wikipedia very long) I think that they both should have the same or similar hyperlinks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CorruptSnowflake (talkcontribs) 23:02, 7 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Multiple equipment inventory lists

[edit]

These figures need to be updated into one comprehensive and current equipment inventory list. This page has gotten more and more cluttered and sloppy. The other main armies' equipment inventory pages on English Wikipedia are kept up better than this, and this page needs to be cleaned up and sorted out.

--JLavigne508 (talk) 15:39, 18 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate the efforts to create comprehensive lists on these pages but there are still *12-24-2020* numerous conflicting and duplicate lists. For example, the list of rocket artillery showing the BM series includes the same thing as the separate rocket artillery list including the Weishi series (WS-22 unit, etc. etc.), and there does not need to be two versions of these same sections on this page. They should be edited, trimmed, and removed to have just one list per section for different types of equipment.

Black areas?

[edit]

The section named “People's Liberation Army Ground Force Equipments” is blank, possible vandalism? JRBCodes (talk) 15:59, 29 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

My mistake I meant “Blank” areas not “Black” areas JRBCodes (talk) 16:02, 29 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Mixing of table and lists, etc.

[edit]

This articles mixing of tables and lists doesn't seem to be a very good idea. Perhaps it would be best to figure which best serves the overall layout for those reading the article and format everything that way. There also seems to be a MOS:TOOMANY problem, particularly since the article is all about the PLAGF. The flag of China doesn't need to be used so many times, and might not even need to be used even once. Finally, the List of equipment of the People's Liberation Army Ground Force#People's Liberation Army Ground Force Equipment (2020) seems completely out of place since there are no other year-specific sections. Perhaps this information should be incorporated into the other sections or completely removed if it's basically just redundant information. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:26, 11 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's my view that the the tables are easier to navigate, and the lists are presumptively there as a placeholder. I'd be happy to just move it all to a table form (and also address the more general issue of unsourced content), but I'll wait for consensus here first. Loafiewa (talk) 05:17, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Reserved, retired and export vehicles should be kept out of the table so reader can have a more clear picture of the current service weapons. -Loned (talk) 18:15, 25 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
