[edit]This article drafted by User:Fayenatic london satisfies the AfD consensus for Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Parrises Squares, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dabo (Star Trek), and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Kadis-kot. All three article's histories were used, but I rolled the history of Kadis-kot here as well. Cool Hand Luke 08:25, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
- Doesn't make it notable though. Where's the third party reliable sources? --kingboyk (talk) 17:19, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
- For a list, it's sufficient that the concept is notable. See User:Carcharoth's comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dabo (Star Trek). Then, given that, primary sources suffice. I acknowledge that sections of the article still lack sources of any kind. - Fayenatic (talk) 21:58, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
Redirects for these games
[edit]- Anbo-Jitsu and Strategema redirect to episodes.
- Tsunkatse is an episode.
- Tongo (Star Trek) redirects to a heading on the Ferengi.
- Kal-toh redirects simply to Vulcan (Star Trek).
- Dom-jot does not exist.
My initial reaction is that these games should join their siblings Kadis-kot, Parrises Squares and Dabo (Star Trek)—I think they should all redirect here. Cool Hand Luke 08:25, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Anbo-jitsu.jpg
[edit]Image:Anbo-jitsu.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Terrace
[edit]What about terrace? I can't recall that it was ever featured as a plot element in ST:TNG, but it was a prop in 10-forward. I even remember that early versions of the game were marketed as appearing on Star Trek. Plus, the wikipedia terrace (board game) article mentions it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Reid (talk • contribs) 22:27, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
- As it's only a futuristic-looking prop, not a plot element, it's not worth a section here. It has a page at Memory Alpha. Feel free to add a link under "See also", though. - Fayenatic (talk) 10:24, 10 March 2008 (UTC)
Baseball and Racquetball
[edit]I wrote a little to the sections baseball and racquetball, thought it was sorta strange no one had done it before, but I hope someone takes my short sentences and expands them.--Peter Drake (talk) 04:04, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
- That is strange. Even more strange is that it took until now for someone (me) to turn baseball in a decent paragraph.Silpion (talk) 03:40, 8 March 2010 (UTC)
Stratagema section issues
[edit]The section on "Stratagema" here indicates a "board with 4 layers each of 8 by 8 squares." But the article and picture found on Memory Alpha only indicate three layers, nor do they (nor my recollections of the episode) indicate any sort of discrete division into 8 by 8 squares. Instead, the captured areas appear to be continuous. The game does show some resemblance to a head-to-head, multi-cursor version of Qix, though - shouldn't this be mentioned? —Preceding unsigned comment added by John Darrow (talk • contribs) 01:34, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks -- I've removed those details, which were not important anyway. It would only be appropriate to mention Qix if independent reliable sources had mentioned the similarity; otherwise it would breach Wikipedia's policy No original research. - Fayenatic (talk) 10:06, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
Darts
[edit]The game of darts was played by Bashir and O'Brien on many occasions on Deep Space Nine. Often enough for it to warrant entry in this article?81.152.71.65 (talk) 21:08, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
Quarto?
[edit]I don't know where or when, but I could swear I remember B'Elanna and somebody playing a game of Quarto somewhere along the line. I'll look for a source. --Clsn (talk) 04:05, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
- It was on the episode where they're traveling through The Expanse where they can't see any light and everyone is getting pissed off all the time... 125.196.65.160 (talk) 16:24, 27 March 2011 (UTC)
Fizzbin rules
[edit]I think the turned-up card rule is the second card only, except on Tuesday, when it is the third card that is turned up. Also, Spock was not "Spocko" until Kirk finally started playing gangster so that nobody would be putting the bag on him anymore. GBC (talk) 15:04, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
