[edit]The comment about there being no point in Canada below sea level is just not correct. Most of Richmond, B.C. is below sea level, for example. Without the dikes surrounding it, the locals would drown. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.85.255.148 (talk) 15:20, 17 March 2010 (UTC)

Ishpatina Ridge/Maple Mountain
[edit]Ishpatina Ridge is the highest point in Ontario. However, Maple Mountain has a higher vertical rise over the surrounding landscape, 37 meters higher than the Ishpatina Ridge rising over Scarecrow Lake. It is considerably better known than Ishpatina Ridge and often mistaken for the highest, ranks thirteenth. But when ranked by vertical rise it is the highest of the top 25 peaks. Should this be included somehow? Black Tusk 10:21, 4 September 2007 (UTC)
Saskatchewan High Point
[edit]Someone had listed Saskatchewan's high point as "Bald Butte". This is erroneous, Bald Butte is located at 49°24′N 106°4′W / 49.400°N 106.067°W and only 829 m high[1] while the highest point is on a flat plateau at 49°33′N 109°59′W / 49.550°N 109.983°W and about 1392 m (4567 ft.) high according to the topographic map at NTS 72F/12 Hungerford Lakes. The listed coordinates for Saskatchewan's highest point are actually in Alberta. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.163.129.1 (talk) 20:22, 17 July 2023 (UTC)
