Deletion of this article

[edit]

Please use AfD if you want to delete this article. Otherwise this looks like WP:Vandalism.Biophys (talk) 23:50, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No AFD is necessary in this case, since all of the information here is already contained in the main bombings article. To quote from WP:AFD: "For problems that do not require deletion, including duplicate articles, articles needing improvement, pages needing redirects, or POV problems, be bold and fix the problem or tag the article appropriately." Offliner (talk) 01:08, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If you want to merge this article, please explain why, mark both articles, and wait for response by others and vote. Main article is simply too big and should be divided to several sub-articles.Biophys (talk) 01:14, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested merge

[edit]

Please explain why.Biophys (talk) 01:15, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No merger is necessary. All the material in this article is already contained in Russian apartment bombings, as far as I can see. This article can be deleted. Offliner (talk) 01:17, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
You said: "This article can be deleted.". Fine. Then mark it as AfD.Biophys (talk) 01:35, 6 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Suggested split

[edit]

I think there will be no objections to keep this particular article if it did not give the equal weight to the official suspects/convicts and to the conspiracy theory that the officials themselves are involved. It may or may not be true, but at the moment it is nothing but a conspiracy theory so let us treat these accusations/allegations as such. So I suggest to split the list of suspects according to the alternative theories into a separate page, like Russian apartment bombings conspiracy theories, similar to 9/11 conspiracy theories. Any objections? (Igny (talk) 19:45, 7 April 2009 (UTC))[reply]

Could someone explain to me why confession of Galkin made under torture to his Chechen kidnappers, and later recanted by Galkin himself, cited here as reliable source that Russian officials/GRU were to blame for the bombings? (Igny (talk) 19:49, 7 April 2009 (UTC))[reply]
