If the list winds up being comparatively short, say 20 names or less, I think it would make sense to move it and probably would be willing to do so myself. However, I doubt that it will be that short. I am currently going through and finding sources for every name I put on a list, which is taking some time. Baseball players are easiest because they can generally all be verified from only one or two books. Other people, like politicians, artistic types, and so on, are generally not as conveniently grouped in a single volume, and will come later. Badbilltucker 17:13, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Request for Comment

[edit]

A page similar to this one. List of people from San Francisco, is currently under review as an article for deletion, for reasons which would apply to this article as well. I am conducting an RfC on the talk page of the above-mentioned list to determine whether the concensus agrees on keeping such lists or not. Any and all comments are more than welcome. • Comment: I've added a lot to the list, to the point where it's impractical to move it to the Little Rock page, although it would be a good idea to take the top names from the list, as a "summary" and put them in a section in the Little Rock article, and put a "see also" line linking to the list page. This list is now so long that it should be put into categories, which I expect to do in a day or two. I took all these names from the "What links here" link in the "toolbox" part of the Little Rock, Arkansas page in the far left column. I hit on "500" to get the largest number of articles that link to that page and started going to the articles on people who appeared on that list.Noroton 03:11, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Merge suggestion with Little Rock

[edit]

There was a merge suggestion with Little Rock since December 2006. I removed it since Little Rock is a very long article and this list is not a stub as it was a year ago. -- Magioladitis 11:49, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
