Code in the section "Parites in Åland" doesn't work. Can someone fix it? --85.157.118.237 14:45, 21 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Confusing tables are not a requirement

[edit]

Have you taken a good look at the main table of this page lately? It's horrendous. The information doesn't flow naturally, there are too many columns, no party colors to speak of, and extra-parliamentary groups in the same place as actual, registered parties. What even. Pessimistipasta (talk) 20:37, 23 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed that. Pessimistipasta (talk) 19:35, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Pessimistipasta: is it possible (or even desirable) to display party colors also in the Extra-parliamentary parties table? I tried playing around with it but the color ended up taking half of the Name cell. – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 19:42, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Finnusertop: One option could be to copy the parliamentary parties' table and just replace the parameters and the colors. Pessimistipasta (talk) 23:28, 2 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Logos

[edit]

@Generalminister: the logos are not a good idea because five of them are non-free and cannot be used in a table like this. We can either have no logos, or only the five free logos and some awkward placeholders for the rest of them (which I've implemented as a temporary measure). – Finnusertop (talkcontribs) 22:21, 12 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Unregistered parties

[edit]

I propose that this section be removed entirely. The corresponding category was recently deleted from the Finnish Wikipedia due to ambiguity issues; since there is no official definition for an "unregistered political party", anyone and everyone can call themselves that for self-promotion purposes. Jah77 (talk) 17:21, 17 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Since there is no such concept under Finnish law as an "unregistered party" - an organization that has never been registered as a political party is not a party at all - I'm changing this section into "de-registered parties" to include active parties that have held registered status at some point in the past. Move discussion in progress

[edit]

There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:List of political parties in Abkhazia which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 16:20, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
