Why have the images been added to this list? With the images having differing sizes, we are flirting with NPOV by emphasizing the wrecks of some ships—which happen to have photographs—over others that have no photographs. The differing sizes of photos also emphasize some ships at the expense of others. Another important point is that having photos in this list greatly slows the loading time of the page (not everyone visits Wikipedia from the personal T1 connection on a supercomputer).
Since most (all?) of the photos here are found in the linked articles, I'd recommend that we eliminate the photos from this list (and any others like it that have photos). — Bellhalla (talk) 13:23, 8 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
