"Lou and Andy have appeared in every single Little Britain episode to date (including the Comic Relief Special). They did not, however, appear in the show's pilot episode."

That's the kind of sense we need. --213.40.131.66 17:51, 23 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm disappointed that these two sentences weren't left as above. They added a tiny morsel of humour to an extremely deadpan/sterile article. All of the Little Britain articles read like a transcript of "Mr Spock's Guide to 'Little Britain', as Read by Stephen Hawking". Not that that's a _bad_ thing... I'm just sayin'

The "Lists" section of this page really seems to add very little. It's seems excessive - really just a rundown of everything the character has ever done. Wikipedia articles don't need to be bogged down with this kind of specific and pretty trivial detail. A few of the more noteable examples would probably surfice, however, I have too little knowledge of Little Britain to do this myself.S Newton 22:06, 9 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted scenes

[edit]

I removed the references to deleted scenes, as they seemed unnecessary. I don't know if anyone will object, but I thought I should mention it here just in case.-Boatmanax

If the references were notable and important they should have been left in. I'll check the history and salvage whatever should be here. However, it may take a while since you have not dated your comment, Jubilee♫clipman 22:08, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The money 'question'...

[edit]

You can earn a lot of money looking after disabled people. Disability living allowance (which Andy would get). Care worker's benefit (or somesuch, can't remember the name exactly) could possibly be given to Lou for his role. There's really no 'continuity' error there and the speculation is pretty close to original research anyway.Xzamuel 03:24, 16 February 2007 (UTC) You cant earn shit looking after disabled people, DLA care component is currently (26 Mar 2007) £57.20 and carers premium is "up to" £26.35 a week. £83.55 a week in total AT MOST. List after list...

[edit]

This article is too excessive in its use of lists. Wikis only need a few notable examples to help readers get a flavour of the fictional characters' behaviour patterns. If they want a blow by blow account of every scene they can go to a fan site with episode guides - or even just watch the episodes. Since others have commented on this, and since it is now tagged, I will strip this article down to the bare minimum. Jubilee♫clipman 22:08, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I've cut the lists down and tried to make the remaining examples relevent. I wasn't sure what to do with the deleted scenes so I left them in list form under the relevent section which looks fine. Most are referenced. Anyone else want to pare this down further be my guest!Jubilee♫clipman 23:56, 1 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Now the header looks is if it needs work as it is not that well written and doesn't really introduce the charcters properly, despite its length... Tomorrow, methinks! Jubilee♫clipman 00:04, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Inspiration

[edit]

Should it be mentioned on the page that Lou and Andy are based on Fry and Laurie characters? (as seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqYGzQkMTLk) Kansaikiwi (talk) 23:55, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced material in section "Andy's behaviour"

[edit]

This section is tagged as possibly containing original research as far back as May 2011 - surely this is long overdue for either removing the original research or adding WP:RS? Autarch (talk) 23:17, 8 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
