Lacedaemonian Euhemerus figure

[edit]

I replaced

Lycurgus or Lykurgus is a Greek male name most commonly referring to the Lacedaemonian Euhemerus figure ...

which could easily be vandalistic bafflegab as far as my research on it went. It's certainly lousy wording, and probably is not about anything that we cover encyclopedically. But i'd love to be shown i'm wrong.

Why not redirect, create dab article

[edit]

It seems that most people who search for Lycurgus are looking for Lycurgus of Sparta. In that situation, it seems appropriate to redirect there had have an "other uses" hatnote on that page that links to Lycurgus (disambiguation) (rather than have the dab page redirect here), per WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. Anyone opposed? RJC TalkContribs 18:38, 6 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
