"Integration means to sit the-alters at a table in the higher mind." What exactly does that mean?

"Once alters are integrated, the patient must undergo therapy to retrain." Again, there's no explanation nor any citations.

"The-alters must be reseated to balance the Parent, Child, Rebellion, Creative, etc, minds." No explanation nor citation.

"NOTE: There is no actual cure for MPD, only that of integration, yet it does not mean the person is not a multiple still. Often, these people are capable of functioning in life effectively, once integrated and retrained." There is effective treatment for MPD, and the term "these people" is offensive.

"...the person is experiencing amnesia, which makes the face of humans blacken." This statement is nonsense.

"Causes: Multiple Personality Disorders often develop from brilliant minds who have been repeatedly tortured, usually by family members. The torture often includes deviant sex acts. In this instance, the mind shatters, causing the person to branch off into sections of his or her personality, thus creating alters. Alters act as defense mechanisms in an effort to protect the “HOST.” (See Birth Child)" Questionable and uncited.

This is a disambiguation page. One editor placed material about multiple personality disorder here, but the article dissociative identity disorder is the appropriate place for details on that meaning of the abbreviation.-gadfium 00:43, 1 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
