I am trying to expand this article, mainly focusing on the differences between this book and other accounts (books and otherwise) of South Africa throughout this period. Any comments or suggestions are appreciated on the talk page.BillMasen 13:29, 6 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV

[edit]

The statement "achieving justice for the atrocities committed under apartheid" is factually incorrect, emotive and POV. It should be deleted.101.98.138.52 (talk) 18:58, 11 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Controversy Section

[edit]

Given the ongoing controversy regarding recent accusations made against Malan it would be useful if some experienced Wikipedians could keep an eye on this page due to the risk of vandalism or non-neutral points of view.

The second part of the controversy section could also be rewritten. The phrase 'general public' is a bit too vague. Furthermore, despite being posted only a few days ago some of the links in that section are already broken. I have tried to find the original articles linked but they are behind a paywall.

The text below is not supported by the linked reference. The reference only states that "There is no statute of limitations on rape cases"

The allegations contained in the book are currently being investigated by the National Prosecuting Authority to decide if they will prosecute the accused, as there is no statute of limitations for rape. -> "Bird Island sex claims could end up in court".
