"is one of the premier universities of India"

[edit]

I have serious doubts about the objectivity of this article. My wife is from India and she's never heard of this school. Also, it appears that the content is coming mainly from authors with a vested interest in the school's reputation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by David.mcreynolds (talkcontribs) 02:43, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

--Hi David, the article is probably not perfectly objective but MSU is one of the premier universities, especially in the Arts/Humanities sphere. There is no grading system for universities in India, but after the three top ones of Mumbai U, Delhi U, & Jawaharlal Nehru U would be (in no specific order) Bangalore U, Sardar Patel U, MSU, and a couple of others. I'm not including the IITs here as they're 'deemed universities.' wildT (talk) 08:23, 17 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I am from India and a graduate of MS University. We had students in various faculties who had come to MSU, because their parents or grand parents were graduates of MSU. We had and still have students from all over the world, south america, europe, middle east and far east and the orient. There are so many things that are great in the world and I do not know about them. That does not mean I am ignorant or the things are not great. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.3.225.106 (talk) 06:54, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The page is written more like a brochure than an actual insight into the univerisity, its culture and how it has been vital for Gujarat. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.240.41.69 (talk) 05:33, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
