Requested move

[edit]

I think that Make love not war should be moved to its proper form and more common name Make love, not war. --Neo-Jay (talk) 12:18, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Possible origin?

[edit]

In Johnny Mortimer's novel,"Paradise Postponed" (adapted as a tv series in the 1980s), appears a scene of an early anti-nuclear demonstration in which demonstrators chanted, "Copulate, not devastate!" Might "Make love, not war" have been developed as a euphemism from that phrase? The novel was set going through the 1950s and 1960s. Do any nonfiction accounts quote the phrase.Cloptonson (talk) 06:03, 8 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
