Poor article

The picture of the sousaphone is terrible. Why would anyone think that was acceptable? The article is small and tells us almost nothing. Gingermint (talk) 02:35, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I suspect this article is trying to be too many things: a list article of instruments (here's how to do one well), a description of drum & bugle corps, ... it is also out of date, mentioning Kanstul as a current manufacturer (ceased operations in 2020) while also neglecting to mention F.E. Olds and Kanstul's role in the revival and manufacture of marching brass in the US since the early 1980s. Jon (talk) 03:03, 12 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
