Samuel Bourne

I am deleting the reference to Samuel Bourne from the section Notable residents because he was not born in the town but, according to his wikipedia biography states he was born in Staffordshire at Napley near Mucklestone, to the north east of Drayton.Cloptonson (talk) 12:30, 16 October 2022 (UTC)Belated signature.[reply]

Great fire of Drayton

I have raised a citation need against the name of the baker whose premises were start of the fire - "D. MacTavish" sounds a Scottish name and I am doubtful there was a person of such a name so south of the Border in Drayton at the time. The only online History of Drayton I have found does not name the baker though it mentions the fire.Cloptonson (talk) 12:29, 16 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
