Transfer
[edit]There is a serious problem about the transfer to Villareal: "Cáceres signed for Villarreal CF in Spain for five years on a free transfer from Uruguayan football club Defensor Sporting Club for a fee reported to be 1 million euros." Either it was a free transfer or a fee was involved. It cannot be both! PRasmussen (talk) 13:11, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
Second Nationality
[edit]Does Cáceres holds other nationality? Matthew_hk tc 02:13, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
According to [1] seems he did not had EU nationality. Matthew_hk tc 02:41, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
Goals scored yesterday
[edit]Please people, he scored against A.C. Milan in Coppa Italia, not in Serie A, stats in box are only for LEAGUE, not CUPs of any kind, league only.
Thank you - --Vasco Amaral (talk) 19:24, 9 February 2012 (UTC)
International career - Caceres plays LEFT Back
[edit]I've noticed the article continuously mentions that Caceres was Fucile's back-up as Right Back at South Africa 2010 or played Copa America 2011 as Right Back since Fucile wasn't called up. This is partly true, Cáceres was Fucile's back up, and took over for Fucile after the Copa America, however, he did so as LEFT Back. Uruguay's starting Right Back throughout both WC2010 and CA2011 was Maxi Pereira. Caceres has occasionally played as a Right Back for Uruguay, but only when Maxi Pereira is subbed-off or unavailable. 177.35.48.251 (talk) 10:55, 6 July 2013 (UTC)

Lazio
[edit]Seem it was some kind of trick to sign a non-EU player, but we can't confirm there was a deal with Lazio unless Cáceres did arrived in Rome in January 2018. So, so far leave it as it as a definitive player of Verona. Matthew_hk tc 13:16, 5 August 2017 (UTC)
