Factual errors

[edit]

I work at WPP as head of web services. This article contains a number of factual errors or out-of-date information. For example, as of June 10 2014 WPP's market capitalisation was £17.2 billion, not the £5 billion quoted in the article. In 2013 reported billings were £46.2 billion and reported revenues were £11 billion. The Group currently (as of June 2014) employs 175,000 people (including associates) in 3,000 offices in 110 countries. An up-to-date fact file can be found here: http://www.wpp.com/wpp/about/wppataglance/ Perhaps the best approach would be for someone to update the figures as above and add "as of [date]" to future-proof them for readers? Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

WPP NPOV

[edit]

The WPP section reads like a PR handout, which I suspect is pretty much what it is. I'm surprised that a major ad agency couldn't do a better job though. Maybe they let some intern do it. --Ef80 (talk) 17:03, 24 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I've just checked the actual WPP plc article, and it's much better. --Ef80 (talk) 17:07, 24 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
