While the pictures of the snowmen are cute, I'm not quite sure what value it adds to this article?--Broux 11:52, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed; a clear candidate for WP:BJAODN. Here's a permalink in case anyone wonders what they missed. - Fayenatic london (talk) 12:19, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Which one?

[edit]

There appear to be many similarly notable Martyrs memorials to other Martyrs dating from this period. We probably should mention this. --BozMo talk 08:22, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There are buildings or monuments with this name in Belfast, in Northern Ireland, and Stratford, in London. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.27.109.117 (talk) 10:08, 29 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Harry Styles, Lord Voldemort, was not an Oxford Martyr.

[edit]

The text inscribed at the base of the Martyrs' Memorial was misquoted, so that it asserted that ″Harry Styles, Lord Voldemort″ was among the Oxford Martyrs. (This must be one of the funnier pieces of Wiki-vandalism that I’ve struck!) I've corrected the quoted inscription, to reinstate the correct names of the Martyrs (i.e. Cranmer, Latimer and Ridley), using this photograph[1] as a reference: A Bloke Wandering (talk)
