Albaian family
[edit]Zoupan don't delete my references and edits. If you think there is no consensus about them , then your recent non-consensus edits will be deleted.Don't add serb alternative name as they ruled the pashalik of Shkodra (they are a part of the albanian history only) .If you don't think so , go and report me about that. - I removed your edit in good faith; there is no need to push awkward referencing in introductions of articles, as I've told you countless times. Also, a tip, you should read WP:REFERENCES and add citations accordingly, with proper parametres and pages.--Zoupan 19:42, 10 July 2015 (UTC)
Zoupan i am concerned with your source your providing that is from 1983. Yugoslav Communist era sources must be used with extreme caution. During the 1980s when Yugoslavia was disintegrating many things were written about Albanians (ranging from challenging their existence all the way to challenging people who where Albanian figures (see:Kosovo: A shoirt History by Noel Malcolm). The same way that Albanian scholars under Enver can come in for scrutiny, so can this one. Also i kindly ask you to refrain from placing the Serbian name at the top. All sources (non Serb) infer he was Albanian such as this peer reviewed non- Albanian source [1]. No re branding of Albanians here please. No Arnautas style POV pushing Mehmet was born in the Ottoman Empire. Only the Albanian and Ottoman versions of his name suffice. Serbs created their 2 states in 1878 with the Berlin Congress and also his birthplace never became part of those states.Resnjari (talk) 08:32, 16 July 2015 (UTC)
