It should be here mentionn of classification of this proteins. What about carrier proteins? And Ion channel or pumps are plausibly in wider sens of meaning transport proteins as well.--Reo On 13:13, 27 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

[edit]

Carrier protein should be merged into this article since they deal with identical subjects. The way that certain material get through the cell membrane; is with the help of Carrier proteins. Boghog (talk) 05:55, 10 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, obviously. However, each of these two pages has more than a thousand other pages linked to it. If we make one of them redirect, will all other redirects be fixed automatically? My very best wishes (talk) 20:39, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Merge: all of the dependent redirects will work, so the redirect problem shouldn't matter. Klbrain (talk) 03:43, 14 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

After reading the article, I believe that all of the content that is present does indeed belong! Furthermore, from what I can tell, the content seems up to date. I think it is coming together nicely. Zverdin (talk) 01:00, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The links work and the sources support the claims in the article, although the information was sometimes a little difficult to find in the sources. Starpower28 (talk) 21:36, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
