Not a Prequel

[edit]

Messengers 2: The Scarecrow is always misrepresented as a prequel when it is not. Todd Farmer has been quoted in interviews more than once that Messengers 2 is his original story (See [1]) and that The Messengers is a re-written adaptation of that story; they are in to way related directly to each other and merely share a common character with a completely different story arc in each film. I would think in the interest of accuracy that this should be noted along with all prequel references removed on both pages.Malagant (talk) 10:48, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Since The Messengers came out before it, and this story is about the events that occured prior to the original, then this serves as a prequel. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.55.170.113 (talk) 04:51, 14 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I agree it should not be called a prequel as the events in this movie do not correspond easily with the events in the first movie; I would imagine that if they do correlate, there would be more ghosts in the first film than those who appeared.Twizzar (talk) 00:18, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
