In the scene where Francine talks to her sister on the phone, the cobversation is in a way that makes fun of how her sister suddenly crops up. But although they apparently make fun of "plot hooks" and new characters appearing sudedenly in soaps, Francine's sister IS actually mentioned before: in season2 epiosde 4, where Stan wants to set up the (gay) news anchors with Francine's sister Gwen. 78.51.74.65 23:08, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, if I'm remembering correctly, the joke is as much about how artificial and forced the telephone dialog is because of the need to let the audience know who Francine is talking to, like referring to her sister as "sis" even though they both know they're sisters. I believe the line was "clunky and expositional". Stan later has a similar phone conversion with his never-before-seen step-brother, that is, if I am remembering correctly.172.191.0.170 (talk) 04:57, 19 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Meg from Family Guy

[edit]

I think I saw her in the group of people horrified after the internal affairs guy leaves. Can anyone verify this? C. Pineda (クリス) 04:58, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Did anyone else notice that much of the narration is lifted from Good Fellas? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.182.148.103 (talk) 23:26, 27 August 2010 (UTC) [reply]

I added information about the turlington character. true information, supported by links. where did it go?

The information you added was unsourced. You need information from a reliable source to establish that Turlington is an -intentional- parody. Also, wikilinks aren't considered sources. Doniago (talk) 13:59, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
