Michael Jenkins (American footballer)Michael Jenkins (CFL player)

  • There are two football players by the name Michael Jenkins: one who currently plays in the NFL and this one, who only played professionally in the CFL. As he is thus best known as a CFL player, I propose this name, which appears to be the original name of the article but has been moved since then to (CFL football player) to (gridiron football) to (American footballer). The last of which is wholly unacceptable as both Jenkins are American and have played American football but this one is best known for playing Canadian football and footballer is a noun never used for CFL or NFL players. It is also preferred to use a noun that describes the person, rather than the sport. DoubleBlue (Talk) 05:57, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
