The result was: promoted by Theleekycauldron (talk22:34, 28 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

5x expanded by Cwmhiraeth (talk). Self-nominated at 08:15, 20 October 2021 (UTC).[reply]

  • Expanded from 193 bytes to just over 2000, and nominated for DYK three days after expansion began. The article appears to be free of copyright violations and close paraphrasing, and the text is supported by the sources. The hook fact is supported, and the hook succinct. I think that a hook stating a species is facing extinction isn't particularly interesting, as it can be said of numerous species. Perhaps mentioning the reason why would make it slightly more interesting. QPQ completed. I'll give this a tick, but if you can provide a different hook, I'll come back to review it. @Mindmatrix: How about ALT2? Cwmhiraeth (talk) 19:20, 22 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • ALT2:... that the African zebrawood is in danger of becoming extinct as its forest habitat is destroyed?
  • Promoter's comment to @Mindmatrix and Cwmhiraeth: seems it's been a bit, so I'll promote. I'd rather take ALT1 than ALT2, for the general reason that hooks are less interesting when they tell the whole story.

Photograph

[edit]

Can we get a photograph of the plant in the article? I don't have any, and I don't know enough about the plant to reliably verify it. Can any botanists help get a photo? CessnaMan1989 (talk) 01:39, 5 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

As you wish. --GRuban (talk) 02:43, 5 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
