Miki Railway

[edit]

I moved to "Miki Railway Miki Line" from "Miki Rail-Bus Miki Line". The English name of the operator should be "Miki Railway", though Miki City in its English page http://www.city.miki.lg.jp/english/tourist_spot.html uses "Miki Rail-Bus". The site mistakenly uses "Nippon National Railway" (properly "JapanJapanese National Railways"), and their English skill and attitudes to proper (English) names are in doubt, though the operator is their subsidiary. From their (Miki city) usage of Upper and Lower cases, the title may merely suggest "rail-bus operating company in Miki". with correction of JNR full name Maxima m (talk) 02:36, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What is the source for the 5 rail lines closing? Is there another Wiki page on this?Sleepytako (talk) 10:45, 18 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Noto Railway Noto Line ja, part of Noto Railway Nanao Line ja, Hokkaidō Chihoku Kōgen Railway Furusato Ginga Line ja, Kōnan Railway Kuroishi Line ja, Shimokita Kōtsū Ōhata Line ja. All are in JAWP, but only Miki Line in ENWP. I hope articles will be made PROPERLY (inheriting history, better English, etc.), in near future. --Maxima m (talk) 06:31, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
