known for
[edit]The statement better known for her affairs, marriages and glamorous social life seems subjective and hard to support with references. Can a more experienced biography editor weigh in on whether this statement is appropriate for inclusion? 27yearsofmagic (talk) 09:06, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
- I agree. The term "better known for" comes across as too subjective. However, the references state that Shay's acting roles were "mostly forgettable" (The Telegraph) whereas her personal life "made headlines" (LA Times) and "was fodder for gossip columns." (The Telegraph) The recent biography Pocket Venus also describes Shay as a Hollywood Starlet who was written about because of her social life rather than her acting. I suggest changing "...better known for her affairs, marriages and glamorous social life." to "...whose affairs, marriages and glamorous social life became a popular subject for gossip columnists." — CactusWriter (talk) 19:51, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
