Neither maskelynite nor "perchlorate" are minerals. Maskelynite is a type of glass = not crystalline = not mineral. "Perchlorate" is a derivative ion = not a solid = not a mineral. So is true for "serpentine": this name refers to a GROUP of minerals, not a single mineral species. Eudialytos (talk) 18:36, 5 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
