2009 remarks
[edit]MoSoSo is an interesting concept - but will not go much farther than a mobile version of Facebook or MySpace until you see real integration of GPS technology to provide relevence to the end user. Improving the IRL experience is the catalyst that will see handset sales move from standard phone to smartphone to intelligent/gps ups the tablestakes to include these capabilities.
Once these hardware capabilities are 'expected' on >50% of devices delivered globally - watch a this segment of mobile computing take off.
Interestingly enough, we have been waiting for years for a 'mobile killer app' and all we've gotten was mobile eMail. Cool? Yes, but not near the redefining effect as MoSoSo could represent.

MoSoSo → Mobile social software – None of the references listed in the page refer to mobile social software as "MoSoSo", and I could not find the acronym anywhere on Google search results that were not copied from Wikipedia. Game2Winter (talk) 21:16, 3 September 2024 (UTC)
