I removed the word "probably" from the note about Lewis and Clark. While it is debatable whether Lewis and Clark themselves used the muskets (probably not) there is documentation from journals that some of the enlisted men in the expedition did use M1795 muskets. The cited reference is one of many that says they were used by the expedition.Engineer comp geek (talk) 12:07, 11 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
