Article Proposed for Deletion

[edit]

This article for deletion on the grounds of non notable. Abutoq has a list of BBC credits to his name plus a film having a world premier at the Glasgow Film Festival which is one of the most prestigious film festivals in the UK. Not everyone can claim they have done that. ChrisGFA (talk) 03:32, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

A list of minimal BBC credits, yes. Two episodes of a TV series that has hundreds of episodes, and three of four short films. This isn't much for notability. Also, the included sources also indicate that he isn't notable. The sources simply give his name in passing while saying absolutely nothing about him. I see a good chance that he will be notable in the future, but not yet. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 03:36, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I understand where your coming from. Perhaps now the feature film has been released, the film and Abutoqs performance as director will be discussed. Would that be something that would be more satisfactory? Is there any chance we could delay the deletion process and give the film time to receive critical responses? How about making this a draft - move it to User:ChrisGFA/Moe Abutoq and see if he produces more sources? You can keep it in your user space as long as you're working on it. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 20:07, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
