I have found that the name of the river is Mayar. You can find the reference here in the below book, "The Indian Forester, A monthly magazine of Forestry, Agriculture, Shikar & Travel Edited by J.W. Oliver. 1902". Page Number: 136
Another reference for this river name as Mayar from "The Nilgiris Game and Fish Preservation Act, 1879. Act 2 of 1879" Page Number: 5

Also the original name of the river is Mayar in Tamil. It is translated by mistake as moyar instead mayar.
