I'd like to point out that "medicine murder" is not limited to Africa. It is also known to have been practiced well into modern times in Cambodia, and probably elsewhere. A common misconception in the case of Cambodia was that such practices as ripping out fetuses from the wombs of pregnant women and drying them to use as good luck charms (known as "kun krak", or "smoke children") was introduced by the Khmer Rouge, whereas in fact they were based on tribal superstitions that long predate them. According to this source, Philippa Mdluli sacrificed her victims for cannibalism in her restaurant. I don't think this is an example of 'medicine murder' —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.26.18.218 (talk) 19:52, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

[Can we please move commercially-focused mutilation to another page? I think the new title is too broad for what I intended to document] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jemevans1968 (talkcontribs) 11:56, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This page should be scrapped or fragmented. Chines organ harvesting has no relation to medicine murder in Africa, and there is too much disparate info for it all to sit together logically. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jemevans1968 (talkcontribs) 13:24, 13 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
