Hadith as sources

[edit]

Hadith are very tenuous sources. They are good to reference for more context in rulings, but interpretation of hadith is for noted scholars... therefore I think it's of the utmost importance that you add scholarly references and mention the hadith that scholars refer to. gren グレン 10:42, 17 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Yes of course, the more sources the better, i will keep an eye open. Do you see anything objectinable? --Striver 00:53, 18 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Unhelpful

[edit]

This article really does not explain itself at all. Following several links, it seems to be about the prohibition of certain behaviour associated with pilgrimage. But it does not say what was allowed or prohibited by whom when . Links are about providing more information, not the basis of the article. --Henrygb 09:21, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

understood, ill try to fix it soon. Thanks for the tip. --Striver 18:10, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
11 years later and the article is still almost incomprehensible. Ashmoo (talk) 08:22, 28 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

[edit]

There's another article called Combining Umrah and Hajj which I think could probably be merged into this one, especially since it doesn't have any sources. Anyone else have an opinion? --Elonka 04:04, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
