Biased
[edit]This page seems to be very biased and almost written by a close friend of Brand. Many people at Indiana University were very upset with Brand for the drop in educational quality while he was there, especially in the Kelley School of Business which saw a decline in the rankings due to refusal to give raises to top professors. The inflated budget of the athletics department also was a sign of how Brand spoke of Education before Athletics, but acted differently. I will not edit the article personally, but I believe that it should be a fair representation of the man and not a fluff piece.
- Indeed-much of the article is indeed blatantly biased towards Brand; worse it is barely sourced.HoundofBaskersville (talk) 04:20, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
- I do not have the personal insights that the above editors do, however I believe I have largely addressed the issues of WP:POV and WP:CRUFT that were present in the article. Rms125a@hotmail.com (talk) 17:10, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
