The text below is placed here for future use in a different article since it refers to the closed subway station rather than the elevated station.

In 1980, Bill Brand's Masstransiscope was installed on the closed platform. The piece functions as a giant zoetrope, whereby 228 hand-painted images appear to move as riders pass by on a train. Currently, the piece is not lit, and has been since covered by graffiti. [1]
