Paulus Hook Ferry Terminal written as [Paulus Hook, Jersey City|Paulus Hook] [Exchange Place (Jersey City)#Paulus Hook Ferry Terminal|Ferry Terminal]

Is there a particular reason why the the above would be preferable than the simple redirect at the top of this message? In Exchange Place (Jersey City) Paulus Hook in its lede, the history of the ferry is discussed, and the contemporary situation described. The modern ferry goes to the Paulus Hook Ferry Terminal at Exchange Place on Paulus Hook, the article for latter makiing no mention of it. In general the entire article needs to be reworked and this issue addressedDjflem (talk) 22:19, 7 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on NY Waterway. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:

NYC Citywide Ferry Service

[edit]

@Epicgenius: Reaching out in regards to content you added to this page last month. Please note I work for Rubenstein on behalf of NY Waterway. The sentence in the lead paragraph - "NY Waterway is expected to be merged into New York City's Citywide Ferry Service starting in 2017. - is not cited and is not accurate. This is mentioned in the "Expansion and near bankruptcy" section as well, which says, "When Citywide Ferry Service starts in 2017, NY Waterway is expected to be merged into the ferry system. This merger would add 150 jobs." The NBC New York citation used does not mention NY Waterway. New York City's Citywide Ferry Service will be operated by Hornblower Cruises, not NY Waterway (See NY Times article). Would you mind removing these inaccurate statements from the page? NinaSpezz (talk) 20:27, 13 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@NinaSpezz: I didn't say NY Waterway would operate CFS. I'm not really keen on the facts, but I assume that NY Waterway's East River Ferry is being shifted to CFS, so I'll clarify my statement. Thank you for pointing out the error. epicgenius (talk) 20:30, 13 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Future Plans

[edit]

I work for Rubenstein and on behalf of NY Waterway, I'm requesting the deletion of the following sentence form the lead paragraph as it lacks an inline citation and is not supported by the article's existing references.

Future service is planned from Port Imperial and Hoboken to Pier 57, "Super Pier" located in the Chelsea district of Manhattan.
