Note

[edit]

This page was deleted twice after dump of large amount of reasonably accurate, and partially sourced, but heavily WP:PEACOCK and possibly WP:COI spam. As a 3rd party editor who had tried to wikify, but given up, was neutral on CSD tag, admin Yunshui invited me to restart a stub rather than simply salt page. Therefore this page is likely to need eyes to prevent peacock content reappearing. Good luck however to Nara Lokesh himself. In ictu oculi (talk) 02:54, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding my edits

[edit]

Seems you didn't understand the factual incidents. The info I added represented what happened in the past. It's okay that some words have to be changed which I would do now. But it is wrong to remove the entire info. You might have not understood the proceedings that happened with this guy. He was made a minister through an MLC post. This is an actual incident. What did you find fault with this ? You even supported a glorified word that he lost with a less margin which exists in the info. Losing with a 5K majority is not a less margin. This is where I'm saying your not having a proper idea about politics and it's incidents. This guy received criticism for not contesting as an MLA for once and got inducted in the ministry which was even discussed in the renowned "The Print" website. You removed even this ? "Times of India" too had given the reason behind his choosing of Mangalagiri assembly consituency and you even removed this ? These were the things that I added. These are not disruptive or biased editings. These are factual incidents. Go through them properly. You may advice me to replace some words. That is okay but please go through the incidents properly. @Chinnusaikrish Dear user please understand the underlying problems with your edit:
1. You removed the successor and predecessor of the IT ministry.
2. You changed the residence which is not sourced.
3. You placed the political statistics content to be placed in the intro which was already mentioned that subject is a minister in the cabinet.
4. You used the words like "lot of criticism" that is not present in the source you provided. refer: NPOV
5. You removed already existing sourced content.
You are free to add content related to the subject with sources without disturbing the existing source in a neutral tone.
Before making any changes you are supposed to reach to a proper consensus in the respective talk page during conflict of material. refer to: WP:CON 456legend(talk) 09:13, 25 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
There is no source even for him staying in Amaravati, please know that. For your information, he doesn't have a residence at all in the mentioned Amaravati. He along with his father is staying currently in Hyderabad.
This page is about a political guy and Criticism is what political analysts do which was presented in the source. Go through that too properly. And this has to be mentioned as this leads to the info of him contesting as MLA and losing. So this is needed.
The info was not in a neutral tone previously which I even mentioned about terming 5K majority as a less margin. And what all I have edited are according to the happened incidents. There is no biased or non-neutral here. Please go through them again properly. I'm presenting them again. You can advise any change of words or phrases to me. Wikipedia is not a place for analysis by anyone. It is purely based on facts available from reliable sources. You are free to remove the residence instead of adding some other residence when there is no source citing it. 456legend(talk) 12:38, 25 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Chinnusaikrish: You haven't provided a rationale for section blanking of the sourced content yet. 456legend(talk) 06:54, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Propose change of picture of Nara Lokesh

[edit]

The current picture of Nara lokesh on this page is quite old. So Im proposing to change it to the following which I downloaded from his official twitter account. https://backend.710302.xyz/https/upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/a/a5/Q55qrfD2_400x400.jpg — Preceding unsigned comment added by Prudhviy2 (talkcontribs) 04:20, 31 Dec 2023 (UTC)

@Prudhviy2: I don't see anything at his Twitter account showing that the image is under a free license, so we cannot use it. —C.Fred (talk) 04:22, 31 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@C.Fred Quick question. Is it acceptable to have a picture of Nara Lokesh licensed under CC BY-ND 4.0 Prudhviy2 (talk) 03:43, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Prudhviy2 No. The license needs to permit derivative usages and commercial use. —C.Fred (talk) 04:27, 1 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Changing the profile content.

[edit]

Have done a small edit that he is the grandson of Late Legendary actor N.T.Rama Rao garu. How can we keep citations or sources that he is the grandson of someone. Already mentioned that he is son of Former Cheif minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandra Babu Naidu & Chandra babu naidu married N.T.Rama Rao's Daughter. This makes him the Grand son of Rama Rao garu Saverack2024 (talk) 07:56, 14 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
