Fascinating article about one of the more bizarre battles, and more interesting people, of the FR/Nap Wars. Is it possible to have a small map locating the route and the point of the engagement?

Citations: check! Great text: check! (I added some punctuation for readability) Links: check Photos, with proper release and copyright and all that stuff: check! Bibliography: check Readable: better than average! check! Content: check! Coverage: check!

Thanks very much for your review! To be honest I've also wondered about the possibility of a map or chart, but have turned up empty handed each time. Dance records the action as taking place as the fleet approached the entrance to the Strait of Malacca, some distance to the WSW of Pulo Aura (Pulau Aur). The nearest thing to a map I can find hosted here is File:Straits of Malacca.png. I'll ask User:Jackyd101, who worked on a rewrite of the Battle of Pulo Aura, if he has any suggestions. My understanding is that it was at the entryway to the narrowest point of the Strait. Even a general map showing that would be helpful. There are maps showing the standard route from Canton to Bristol, Plymouth, and the Thames, circa 1800, and that might be a useful starting point. At any rate, such a thing would be more appropriate certainly in the battle page, although useful in the Dance page as well. --Auntieruth55 (talk) 16:55, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
