Question

[edit]

What is your definition of a commercial link?—Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.20.153.128 (talkcontribs)

A link to a site that primarily there to sell something. See Wikipedia:External links#Links normally to be avoided. External links should assist Wikipedia's function as an encyclopedia, e.g. provide additional information about a subject.--Shantavira 15:21, 4 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

More detailed info about nest boxes

[edit]

Infomation about handling next boxes and the activities surrounding it is lacking. Topics such as nest box positioning, nest box care, nest box safety from predation, noise and disturbance. Any feedback?--Nestguard (talk) 08:50, 1 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Whelping box?

[edit]

English Mastiff links to whelping box, which redirects here, but isn't mentioned. Can anyone describe what a whelping box is, in relation to dogs? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 154.5.36.159 (talk) 23:41, 22 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed-- I was redirected here because I was interested in finding out more about whelping boxes but there is no reference to them here.Lisa mynx (talk) 06:33, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The redirect was an error, I removed the redirect and added some basic info to the whelping box article. Improbcat (talk) 18:42, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nest-boxes for insects?

[edit]

Good day en.wikifriends  :)
A question from Holland: I am looking for an en.wiki to interwiki one of our NL articles. I've been searching on Insect_hotel but only ended up here (at OtherCreatures) .. please have a look at http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Insektenhotel (the NL article doesn't have pictures yet) and if you can help out  :) Please link me or let me know if there is just no such English article? Thanks, Aigipan (talk) 08:32, 20 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Birdhouse

[edit]

The article refers to the term birdhouse, which I think is exclusively American English, perhaps adopted under German influence. I've never heard it used by non-Americans. Can anyone confirm that this term is only used in the US, and update the article appropriately? --Ef80 (talk) 14:44, 5 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
