Kerry's Age

Kerry was 10 at the start of the story and not 13 as the article stated. In the early scene at the docked cruise ship, where Kerry's father is explaining that cruise ships go all over the world, he told her that she'd be 11 years old when it got back. She also said she'd only had one period, extremely rare for a 13 year old and more typical of age 10 or 11.
