Why was "North York" removed from the article name? This removal seems unwarranted.

Support. While there is building signage facing Yonge St that just says "City Centre", the history of the building and references provided above lead me to believe the article should be renamed. PK T(alk) 17:01, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Support - I have only ever heard it referred to as North York City Centre. If I recall correctly, there is a subway stopped named as the same on the Yonge line. DigitalC (talk) 16:54, 6 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

For the record, the subway station is named North York Centre and the name refers not to the building, but to Mel Lastman's vision, since realized, to have the Yonge strip between Sheppard and Finch serve as the civic centre for North York. elpincha (talk) 22:07, 6 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
