Engine #300?
[edit]This image is posted on the Wikipedia page North Coast Limited:
It seems to feature a 4-6-0 labeled engine #300, but I don't see such an engine listed below - does anyone know about this engine? Cmmr613 (talk) 03:20, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
- @Cmmr613: Yes. I randomly came across this pic on the Gandy dancer page, and was baffled by the number #300 like you. After some considerable head-scratching and searching, I discovered it is one of the two Class E-5 locos along with #301, which were later renumbered NP 386 and 387. More info on the main image page on Commons, and the North Coast Limited page. MinorProphet (talk) 07:16, 12 August 2019 (UTC)
