Population numbers

The source given for the figure of "32,850 Australians of Norwegian ancestry" actually refers to an 'ethnic strength' of 32,850, which is not the same thing (see source for explanation).

I raised this objection in the previous version of the article (subsequently deleted via prod), but the original editor seems to have recreated the article with the same claim as before.

Also, the claim "Census 1891 shows that 1.9% of Australia's population then the Scandinavians" seems unlikely, because AFAIK Australia did not have a unified census in 1891. Maybe a state census?--GenericBob (talk) 11:03, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
