I think that "occasional furniture" is still needed in Wikipedia. This is a two-word term that I've heard for decades but never understood until now. I wouldn't have thought to look for this term in a dictionary. I don't think that there's room in the dictionary for all of the two and three and four-word terms that could be created. itohacs Itohacs 20:10, 9 August 2010 (UTC)

Seems as if this page should include a mention that such furniture is often involved when designing a theme for a room, not only for 'occasions' (e.g. a party) as the name implies. Uncertain of a source. Can anyone provide such? Ausresearch (talk) 01:09, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
