Just created the page
[edit]Hey team. I've just moved into the Oldknows Building and have begun researching it a little more. I noted there's no wiki page for it yet, so I've kicked it off. I don't know a great deal about researching buildings though. Help is appreciated! Shane (talk) 18:46, 24 December 2019 (UTC)
Possessive apostrophe?
[edit]I've become panicked regarding the name of this page now that I've noticed the Historic England page have both "Oldknow's Factory" and "Oldknows Factory".
I expect that without the apostrophe it is in regards to the postal address, rather than the building name. Does anyone know which direction to go in?

- Shamesspwns, no specific knowledge, but I've put in a redirect so Oldknow's Factory, Nottingham goes to this article. I'm sure it's not a problem. Blythwood (talk) 18:18, 26 December 2019 (UTC)
- A similar thing occurs at Brunts School, named after Samuel Brunt from the 1700s. Well-meaning drive-by editors will try to add an apostrophe.--82.13.47.210 (talk) 00:23, 23 December 2023 (UTC)
