- The practice of immediately ceasing communication without explanation is described as poor behavior, however behavioral quality is an opinion based on a the comparison to a perceived social normal which, quite frankly, is also an opinion. As for me, I can find no fault with this practice: what good would it do to inform somebody of a perceived fault that disqualifies them for a relationship? To tell them and expect them to conform may be considered a form of bullying. The advice I received and would pass on for dealing with those uncouth enough to give an ultimatum of this nature is don't let them change you, there will be other people who do not consider that part of you a fault; in the end only you are required to live with the person you become.
- Recommendation: remove the conclusive statement ", which make it easier to behave poorly with few social repercussions" or rewrite it to properly represent the opinion that such action is considered offensive by some people.
