I believe that the Barracuda that ditched was from Indefatigable and that it ditched near its own carrier, not Formidable, based on the account in McCart's history of the Illustrious-class ships. The crew was recovered by the destroyer Verulam, according to McCart, p. 150. "WWII Hellcat Wreck Discovered in Norway After 74 Years"
