initial review under new article curation / review process

[edit]

Thank you for creating PSA Certified.

While examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:

Good start! I tagged it because the article is really short on independent secondary sources. I marked it as reviewed. Happy editing. Sincerely,

May 2020 Edit Request

[edit]

Thanks for your assistance so far @North8000: and @JavaHurricane:. As you both mentioned the references could do with some improvement, so there is an updated version in User:RichardDigital47/sandbox I would ask to be considered. It strips out the primary references and focuses on media coverage, so it is hopefully an improvement on what is there already. In an ideal world, this will address the notices at the top of the page. If it doesn't, it would be great to be pointed in the right direction.

I'm kind of buried right now plus some compute problems are limiting my wiki time. I did a quick look and it looks like you added some good references. You don't necessarily have to remove the primary ones, but need to rely on them less to support the text. Make sure you develop some text from those new sources (I didn't review that in your draft). IMO if you just get this moved a few steps in the right direction it would be enough to remove the top level tags, even if some further improvement is needed. Again, I'm just doing quick stuff right now, but ping me if I can help. North8000 (talk) 15:36, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Following discussions with North8000 and JavaHurricane, I have made an edit suggestion to further improve the PSA Certified page. There is a new version to be considered here. There are two main aims with this. To improve referencing so the notices can be removed at the top of the page and the second is to add more technical information.RichardDigital47 (talk) 12:46, 2 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@RichardDigital47: I just took a look and am not seeing any huge red flags. Given the work that you'd done with Java and North previously, and because of the substantial changes, you should probably go ahead and do the edits yourself for attribution purposes. @Barkeep49: Thanks for looking at the draft and your feedback. The content is now live on the page as instructed.RichardDigital47 (talk) 22:46, 4 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Replace the industry adoption section with the following table. The concern is that the section could easily become inaccurate when in paragraph format, and is much harder to check for verification information.
