Just saying

[edit]

I've had a look on PapersPast and searched for a surgeon called Pigeon between 1902 and 1919. I drew a blank. There was a Dr Pidgeon during that period with a few mentions. I find it unbelievable that somebody is a surgeon and doesn't get a mention over nearly two decades in New Zealand's digitised newspaper set. I've also had a look on the birth, death and marriages database. Nobody's birth under the name "Pigeon" was recorded for the period from 1912 to 1923. There were three births recorded in 1918 under Pidgeon, but none of them a Pamela. One can't search this database by given name only. I suggest this lady's maiden name isn't Pigeon. Maybe it was her married name. Schwede66 04:41, 4 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
