Who built the fort, and when?

First, Sadashivrao Nevadkar is described as establishing the city in the 17th-18th century, and building the fort, but also being contemporary with Rani Laxmibai, who lived in the 19th century. Then, the fort is said to be built by Khander rao around the 16th century. Can this be clarified? //Essin (talk) 11:15, 1 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
